Railway is a burgeoning industry globally. However, most countries still lack talents in rail, and Malaysia is certainly no exception. HARTASUMA realised that highly skilled talents are needed to support sustainability and drive growth in this sector.
In tandem with Government’s aspiration to improve connectivity and accessibility via an integrated public transport infrastructure, HARTASUMA is committed to create railway talents to extend the innovation capacity of the railway sector and to improve the sector competitiveness by fully utilising the potential of its talents.
HARTASUMA embarked on a partnership with UNIKL Asia Rail Centre in the creation of highly trained and skilled rail-specific workforce to fill and upscale rail operations and maintenance through an accredited certification programme.
